place for circulating food culture

We designed, branded, and directed the interior of GYRE.FOOD on the 4th floor of a high-class boutique building located on Omotesando Namiwa-dori in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.

For facilities with the theme of human circulation, we are trying to return the concept as an experience by finishing the entire space with plastering. For a plan where the Grand Maison, restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops are continuous in the same space, if you use a building with large windows on all fours and create a different environment by natural lighting. At the same time, it is gently divided by the sun.

Since its opening in 2007 by Dutch architect MVRDV, the GYRE complex has a "SHOP & THINK" philosophy that means "living while recognizing the problems of the world's topics." The name GYRE means vortex, or rotation, and through its philosophy it has become a unique commercial facility that attracts new energies and people.
